Partnership for Children of Lenoir and Green Counties

CCR&R is a service offered by the Partnership that consists of four parts:

	Helping parents find quality child care:
	If you are a parent or primary caregiver for a young child, we offer a referral service that will help you find the right child care facility to meet your needs. This service is free of charge; simply call us at 939-1200 and our Information Specialist will ask you a series of questions to determine your child care needs. The Specialist will then call you back and give you a list of child care centers and homes that will meet those needs. 	Giving child care providers access to professional development:
	Each month the Partnership provides professional development opportunities with credit hours approved by the Division of Child Development (DCD). These opportunities keep child care providers up to date on the latest laws that affect the child care industry, specific required training such as BSAC, Playground Safety, and SIDS, as well as refresher courses, activities for children, and more. 	Providing a database of all licensed child care facilities in Lenoir and Greene Counties:
	Our database of licensed child care providers assists our Information Specialist in giving callers a thorough child care referral. Please call Elizabeth at 939-1200 for your free, confidential referral.

	Maintaining an excellent Resource Center for the use of local child care providers, parents, and anyone else who would like access to quality early childhood materials.
