Providers

The Partnership for Children is here to help you grow and maintain a high level of quality in your child care facility. The Partnership has the same goals that you do: to create a safe, educational, healthy and creative child care facility where young children grow, play, learn and thrive.

Programs we offer to child care providers:
  • Quality In Action assistance and funding for child care centers and homes to increase their licensure.
  • Professional Development: Each month the Partnership provides professional development opportunities with credit hours approved by the Division of Child Development (DCD). These opportunities keep you up to date on the latest laws that affect the child care industry, as well as refresher courses, activities for children, and more. Dates and times are published in our bi-monthly newsletter. You can download the latest newsletter on the homepage. Call the Partnership at (252) 939-1200 to be added to the mailing list.
  • Annual Child Care Conference: Each Fall the Partnership hosts a Child Care Conference where participants can earn credit toward their DCD training requirement.
  • Resource Centers: Both office locations feature a well-equipped resource library that includes books, developmentally-appropriate classroom materials, arts and crafts and more.  Annual Membership is $5.00.

Our services are voluntary so we invite you to call us and inquire as to how we can help you meet your goals. For more information on these programs and activities for child care providers, please call us at 252-939-1200 (Lenoir County) or 252-747-3331 (Greene County).
